Yes. No signup, no watermark, no paywall. There is a fair-use limit of 10 conversions an hour and a 15 minute length cap.
Why does a Reel sometimes fail when a TikTok works?
Instagram login-walls a lot of anonymous requests, and how aggressively it does that changes week to week. If a Reel fails, the post is usually private, from a restricted account, or Instagram is throttling anonymous access right now. Waiting a few minutes and retrying often works.
Does it work on Stories?
No. Stories are only reachable while logged in as someone who can see them, so the converter is limited to public Reels and public feed posts.
Can I use the audio in my own content?
Only if you have the right to. Music and audio in a Reel belong to their creators and licensors. Reusing a trending audio through Instagram's own editor keeps the attribution and licensing intact, which a downloaded file does not.
