Is it really free?
Yes. No signup, no watermark, no paywall. A fair-use limit of 10 conversions an hour applies, plus a 15 minute length cap, so full-length videos are out of scope.
Does it work on normal YouTube videos, not just Shorts?
Yes, any public youtube.com or youtu.be link under 15 minutes. Longer videos are rejected rather than half-converted.
Is downloading YouTube audio allowed?
YouTube's Terms of Service prohibit downloading content unless a download button is provided or you have the copyright holder's permission. Use this on your own uploads, on material you have cleared, or where the licence allows it. Do not use it to republish someone else's audio.
What quality do I get?
We take the best audio stream YouTube serves and encode it to MP3 at the top quality setting. It is a re-encode of the source audio, not a recording, so nothing is lost beyond the format conversion.
